Why I do not accept reimbursement from Insurance Companies for Mental Health
Services
Lack of confidentiality, lack of getting
reimbursed, lack of getting treatment sessions and services authorized,
lack of type, duration, and number of sessions needed to treat effectively,
lack of accurate diagnosing, lack of ethics due to insurance companies rigid
requirements of determining “medical necessity.” I would be happy to discuss
further why I do not accept insurance via telephone, email, or in person.
