As
a, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I use a collaborative, integrative,
approach in treatment. I believe that healing and learning occur when they
are not only talked about but experienced. Creating an environment that
allows people to feel safe, open, and free to express themselves in ways
that are uniquely suited for them is very important to me. I treat the whole
person, taking into consideration the mind, body, and spirit of each individual.
Special care is taken to insure dignity and respect to all people that I
work with across cultures. I believe that it is important as a therapist
not to sit in a seat of judgment, or take on the stance of being all knowing.
Listening to my clients and helping them to unleash, what I believe they
already have, which is the ability to heal from emotional, psychological,
and physical pain, is something that comes natural to me. I believe in order
to heal the emotional, psychological, and physical aspects of a person they
need to work on the spiritual components that are relevant to them. I combine
years of experience, training, and personal triumphs in my own healing with
your knowledge, personality, and strengths to get a great deal accomplished
in therapy. Therapy does not have to be an exhaustive drudgery. Working
through your issues can be exhilarating, fun, and adventurous. If you think
you have tried everything, or therapy has not worked for you in the past,
you have not experienced therapy with someone like myself who has not only
been there, but takes you on a path to healing that is invigorating and
rewarding.
